LATEST UPDATE
- Passport
- Visa (only if your nationality needs one)
- A valid email address (they will send your entrance permit to you by email)
Argentina is open for travel, but as with most of the world, there are several new entry requirements necessary in light of the recent pandemic.
One of these new measures is to fill in an online sworn statement before you enter, which is an Argentina covid restrictions affidavit.
The main things you will need to keep in mind when completing the form are:
- It must be filled in within 48 hours before entering Argentina.
- You will need to choose your entry point from a drop-down list.
- You will need to provide the dates of when at least 2 vaccinations were administered.
- The proof of vaccination and the covid test details will be checked upon entry.
We make a disclaimer that we specialise in transportation that crosses the border from Brazil to Argentina at the Iguazu crossing and therefore what we list here is current at the time of publishing for the Iguazu land border only.
Should you have doubts about what is written here or you wish to know more about the current conditions for crossing into Argentina at the Iguazu border, then you should visit our Iguazu entry requirements page which we update as soon as we get news of any changes.
Filling out the Argentina Covid declaration form
Below we made a video to show you how to fill in the Covid declaration form for entering Argentina (sorry for the audio quality).
We go through the form and discuss some of the trickier questions such as point of entry for the Iguazu border and what to put for transportation, plus we will discuss the covid test needed and proof of medical assistance.
NEW INFORMATION – It is no longer necessary to upload your COVID test result or medical insurance to the declaration.
Transport to Argentina with help at the border
Every day we are taking people across the border to Argentina and our drivers stop at both Brazilian immigration so you can stamp out of Brazil, and then you continue a couple of kilometres more to stop again at the Argentine immigration office to stamp in.
With the recent opening of the border again since the start of the pandemic, there is now an additional stop on the way to the Argentina border where you must depart your vehicle and line up to get your Covid vaccination and also a negative result for a Covid test checked.
Our drivers know exactly where you must go at the border to complete both the immigration procedures and pass the COVID requirements, and they will wait for you while you complete everything. We offer you the quickest and easiest way to cross from Brazil to Argentina at Iguazu.
Book with us and we will keep you updated on any changes to the entry requirements for Argentina related to the Covid Pandemic.
