After exploring the falls on your own, you can choose to either return to your accommodation in Foz do Iguaçu, or be dropped off at a hotel or bus terminal in the city of Puerto Iguazu. 

Transfer Service:   Foz do Iguaçu City Location -> Brazilian Immigration -> Argentine Immigration -> Argentine Falls National Park Entrance -> Argentine Immigration -> Brazilian Immigration -> Foz do Iguaçu City – or – Foz do Iguaçu City Location -> Brazilian Immigration -> Argentine Immigration -> Argentine Falls National Park Entrance -> Puerto Iguazu City Location

Frequency: You may schedule a transfer for any day of the week with pickup between 08:00 am & 14:30 pm.

Border Crossings: The driver will guide you through the process of exiting Brazil and entering Argentina, then the reverse on the way back, if applicable. Our vehicles use a special tourism lane when crossing to/from the border from/to Argentina, making it faster than possible for the general public.

Important – this transfer crosses an international border. It is your responsibility to have the correct documents to complete the immigration processes.

Pickup Areas:  Locations within the city limits of Foz do Iguaçu.   If staying at the Belmond Das Cataratas Hotel, there is an extra charge for this service that you can add on the next page.

National Park Entrance Fee:   The entrance to the falls is not included. Your entrance needs to paid directly by you when you arrive at the National park.  Visa and Mastercard are accepted, but if you wish to pay the entrance in cash,  only Argentine Pesos are accepted.

Guide: No guide accompanies you at the falls.  It is possible to add an English speaking guide to your reservation on the next page.

Luggage Storage: You may leave your luggage in the car while you visit the falls, but we ask you to lock them and to not leave money and valuables in the car. Take valuables with you into the park or place them in the park’s lockers located at the entrance.

Pick up after the falls:  On the day of your transfer, you will set the time and place for your pick up after the falls directly with the driver.

Drop off Areas:  You can choose to return to your accommodation in Foz do Iguacu, or take your luggage with you and get dropped off at a location within the city limits of Puerto Iguazu. Does not include the airport.

Pit-Stops: This is a non-stop transfer. Any stops on the way need prior permission (please contact us) or choose a pit-stop on the following page.

Timing Guide

• The gates to the national park open daily at 08:00 am, and you need to exit the park by 18:00 pm.
• The entrance to the park is located about 1.5 hours from the Foz airport.
• We recommend that you choose your departure time between the hours of 7 am & 11:30 am to have enough time to see the falls.
• If you walk quickly, you can see the falls in around 5 hours in the low season or 7 hours in the high season.
• To visit the falls at a comfortable pace you need about 6 hours in the low season or 7 hours in the high season.
• If you want to do the Great Adventure (Longer Boat Trip)  located inside the park, calculate an extra 1.5 hours.

Vehicles

Vehicles are no older than 5 years and are insured against damages to the passenger regardless of whether in Brazil, Argentina or Paraguay.  Drivers hold credentials from the Sest Senat training school in Foz do Iguaçu.

For 1 – 4 passengers – Private Sedan – Toyota Corolla, Chevrolet Zafira, Chevrolet Meriva or similar

Baggage Allowance:  4 standard sized principal suitcases or backpacks + 4 small carry on items able to fit at your feet if you are a group of 4. If you plan to travel with more luggage than the allowance, then contract the van transfer for 5 passengers instead.

For 5 – 14 passengers – Private MiniVan – Renault Master, Mercedes Sprinter or similar

Baggage Allowance:  14 standard sized principal suitcases or backpacks + 14 small carry on items able to fit at your feet if you are a group of 15. Contact us before booking if you plan to travel with more luggage than the allowance.
