Due to many travellers only passing through the Iguazu area to see the falls while on their way to other destinations, both national parks on the Brazil & Argentine side have provided a locker storage room for people travelling between the falls and the airports or bus stations.
Here we provide information on the luggage storage facilities for both side of the falls.
There is a luggage storage room full of lockers located at the entrance to the Brazilian National Park, and it is about a 50 meter (160 ft) walk from where the cars drop off from the road. There are 58 lockers available.
First, you need to go get a token for the lockers from the same booth you purchase your entrance ticket to the park. Your token will release the locker key, and it is important to note that you may only open the locker once, otherwise you need to purchase another token to release the key again. So make sure you have everything with you before you lock it. Do not lose the key or you will be charged a fine.
Locker size – the lockers are quite large and you can fit a decent sized suitcase in them, with room to squeeze smaller hand luggage; or 2 standard sized backpacks.

You will find a storage room with lockers at the entrance to the Argentine side national park, located next to the ticket office, and about a 10 meter (32 ft) walk from where cars can drop you off. The room is open from 8:00 am, and you need to return the lock & key by 18:00 pm.
To rent the locker you must enter the souvenir shop located next to the ticket booth and pay at the cashier before they will give you a lock & key. If you lose your key during the day you will need to pay a fine.
There are 2 sized lockers you can rent, and the large ones can fit a decent sized suitcase in them, while the smaller one is just for day-bags and small items you want to keep secure while in the park.
There are about 16 large lockers, but we have witnessed the parks staff store luggage in a locked room monitored by cameras when lockers are full or oversized items. The staff gives you a receipt of checked items.
