A stress-free and fast way to get from Puerto Iguazu to the Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side. At a time of your choosing, a driver will collect you at your hotel or Airbnb and take you directly to the border with Brazil.
The first stop will be at the Argentine immigration where your driver will use a special tourism lane and assist you to get your passport processed for temporarily exiting Argentina. After driving over the bridge which spans the Iguazu River you will continue to the immigration control on the Brazil side, and here you will be escorted to the location where you acquire a Brazilian stamp in your passport.
After all immigration procedures are complete you will drive for a further 20 minutes to the entrance to the Iguazu Falls. Your driver will discuss the timing of visiting the National park on your own and you will agree on a time to meet again after exploring the falls. For the journey back to Argentina you will exit Brazil and enter Argentina again before you are dropped back at your hotel.
It is best to book this service as early as possible because this is a popular transfer and vehicles are limited.
Scheduling – It is best to schedule this service for a pick-up between 7:30am & 13:30 am to have a comfortable duration for exploring the falls.
From the downtown of Puerto Iguazu it takes between 1 hour to 1.5 hours to get to the Brazil side of the falls.
The park opens its gates at 09:00 am and closes them again at 18:00 pm.
If you walk quickly, you can see the falls in around 2.5 hours.
To visit the falls at a comfortable pace you need about 3 hours.
Because of the extra crowds and traffic, it takes a longer duration to see the falls on public holidays, long weekends and the period between Christmas and New Years.
If you want to also see the Brazilian Bird Park located near the entrance, calculate an extra 1.5 hours for a visit.
If you wish to take the helicopter over the falls, the location where it takes off is also near the entrance. You should allow 1 hour extra, even though the flight only takes 10 minutes you often have to wait a bit for your turn.
