A registered coordinator comes with you! For groups above 15 people, local laws dictate that a registered guide must accompany any group while being transported in the area. But don’t worry, we include this in our service. This is also a great way to ensure your group has someone on-the-spot to organise logistics, which is really valuable when you are heading to national parks or crossing borders. This is extra valuable when in countries where the local language might not be your native tongue. Note: Your driver may also act as your coordinator, and will also be hold the credentials as a registered guide.

From Argentina’s capital, the journey starts on the flat grassy plains before gradually the scenery changes to the lush jungle of Misiones in the north-east of the country. Once you reach Puerto Iguazú, your group makes the border procedures to depart Argentina, before crossing the friendship bridge into Brazil and the city of Foz do Iguazú.

Your bus will cross 2 country borders on the trip from Uruguay’s capital of Montevideo to Foz do Iguacu. First you make a border crossing into Argentina at either Colon or Salto, and then follow the border of the 2 countries until you reach the Argentine province of Misiones, where flat grassy plains give way to junge and Mate fields. Once you reach Puerto Iguazú, the last Argentine city before crossing into Brazil, your group will once again do border procedures before arriving to Foz do Iguacu.

It’s a straight forward drive by bus between Paraguay’s capital of Asuncion to Foz do Iguacu. Heading down the Dr. Jose Gaspar Rodriguez de Francia highway, it takes a bus about 6 hours, but depends on traffic in Asuncion, and also in Ciudad del Este, where you stop to make border procedures before crossing a bridge into Brazil, and the city of Foz do Iguacu.

Curitiba city is the state capital of Parana. A bus takes roughly 08 hours to reach Foz do Iguacu with a couple of short rest stops. The waterfalls are also situated in the State of Parana.
